Love this website!

Have just finished reading Philippa Pullar's biography (American edition). A brilliant man who just seems to leave absurd and/or hairraising situations in his wake.

Would love to see some photographs of the Cesari Reserve at Eze. Do any exist? It sounded extraordinary. Also, what became of this place subsequently?

Also, why did Frank and Nellie take American citizenship? They only returned for one brief visit, I think.

Harris as the literary rascal has always seemed to me to be underestimated as a serious writer.

i recently found the author james sallis and of course had to have all his books. i started with the first and loved it. in the second one named "the moth" he made a reference to frank harris, something about he had a thing about geese. well i was curious, so i turned to google and found your web site. how fascinating to unearth a whole new world of literary exploration. i loved the magic glasses short story. thanks for sharing.

I have just been re-reading the Oscar Wilde "confessions" which I like more this time around. It may not be all that accurate, but it gives a vivid picture.

I had only read one book that made me laugh out more loudly each time I read it until I came across Frank. The man was a great entertainer and deserves to be in the first rank of the great, vanity driven, innovators like Warhol.
