Came across this site while researching any background to 'Eve', a poem by Ralph Hodgson. Having recently recorded a setting of it, I'd never known it was anything other than a straight 'Garden of Eden' story until I discovered the claim by Enid Bagnold that it was about her affair with FH. What was her connection to Hodgson though?
