Amanda McKittrick Ros at the Belfast library

Submitted by jonojono on
I was just wondering whether anyone had been to visit the Amanda McKittrick Ros collection at the Belfast library. I'm planning to make a special trip there next time I'm in Europe, but it's a long way to go and I don't know how what the access etc is REALLY like. If anyone has any helpful advice or comments, they would be greatly appreciated.

I've not been, but I did deal with them briefly to get permission to quote material. The person I dealt with was a little bit condescending, but permission was granted. I'd send them a letter or phone them and ask what the deal is with access.

The Belfast Central Library has manuscripts for unpublished works such as 'Benjamin Bunn' and typescript versions of 'Rector Rose' and 'The Murdered Heiress' among others. Has anybody here read any of these? Can you provide any information on them?
