The Censored podcast covered My Life and Loves back in March 2023. In a lively and entertaining review, Aoife Bhreatnach gave the old boy a well-deserved kicking. We may regret that she only chose to read (and review) volume 1, though since it was not to her taste it would be dishonest to pretend she might like the other volumes better. The memoirs are very much front-loaded, and to read them volume by volume is to experience diminishing returns.
