Adams, Florence Ruth

FH's first wife, whom he married in Brighton in 1878. They then travelled to Heidelberg, Germany, where FH continued his studies only to have them cut short by his imprisonment for brawling in the street. In June the next year Florence fell ill and returned to England, where she died on August 27. FH never seems to have mentioned her subsequently, and we know very little about her.
