(nÃƒÂ©e Stewart-Mackenzie), society hostess, journalist and charity worker. Wife of Francis Henry Jeune, Baron St. Helier (1843-1905), a judge. Mrs Jeune was a significant figure on the social scene, who held weekly dinners where celebrities gathered. She was responsible for introducing FH to Lady Colin Campbell, and at her dinners he met amongst others Oscar Wilde, Russell Lowell, Thomas Hardy, Walter Pater, Matthew Arnold and Robert Browning.
